• THE FILTERS: The Brita filter pitcher contains two Brita brand Filters, as well as three Joey'z filters. The Joey'z water purifier set is certified by NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 and is capable of filtering out various impurities such as Chlorine taste and odor, PFAS, Chloramine, particulates, Iron/Rust, Manganese, Zinc, and heavy metals like Cadmium, Mercury, Copper, and some amounts of Lead. Each filter can purify 40 gallons and lasts around 2 months.

• FILTER CHANGE INDICATOR: The electronic Brita filter change indicator uses a sensor to monitor water volume passing through the filter. When the filter nears the end of its lifespan, the indicator light, located near the handle of the pitcher, will change color to signal that it's time to replace the filter. This technology helps maintain the quality of the filtered water.
• HOW TO USE - STEP 1: Soak the Joey'z / Brita water filter replacement in clean water for 5 minutes. Step 2: Insert the filter into your water purifier pitcher, making sure to line up the slot on the side of the filter with the notch on the side of the filter well in the pitcher. Then press the filter into place. Step 3: Discard the first liter of water filtered with any new filter. This filter is designed for purifying tap water and should not be used to filter saltwater or contaminated water.
• HOW THESE FILTERS WORK: Water passes through 4 stage filtration when run through these filters. STEP 1: Water passes through PP MESH, which removes suspended particles. STEP 2: ACTIVATED CARBON removes chlorine and other dissolved substances and improves taste. STEP 3: ION EXCHANGE RESIN removes heavy metals, minerals, and lime scale. STEP 4: MICRO NET removes any remaining particles.
